Year of Establishment 1954
Founder -

The Historical Museum of Sevlievo was established in 1954. Its first exhibition was archaeology. Later, exhibitions of Renaissance and ethonography were created. Near the museum there was an art section that was developed into the art gallery "?sen and Iliya Peikovi." In collection of the gallery, there are more than 1,000 works of art- paintings, etchings, and sculptures. The displays of the museum itself -documentary, photographic, and materials- are counted to more than 45,000 exhibits.

Besides the general collection and exhibition, the museum produces exhibits with various themes, and the museum participates in publication of a yearbook for the anniversary of the city of Sevlievo. Two national conferences with historical themes were organized by the Museum of Sevlievo.
