The exhibition of the house is a subsidiary of the Art Gallery, and it is formed by works from its fund.
The academician Detchko Ouzounov was born in 1899 in Kazanlak. When he was 35 years old, he became a professor of fine arts and decorative arts in The Art Academy - Sofia; He was a member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. In 1976 he was chosen for a president of the International Association of the Plastic Arts to UNESCO-AGAR. In 1982 he was chosen for a member of the European Academy for Science and Arts.
The exhibition of the house is situated in the restored native house of the artist, in a special protected exhibition hall. There are 21 arts of paintings from different creative periods, presented by the wife of the artist- Olga Ouzounova, and his four early works, presented by his nephews - Atanas and Hristo Neikovi, in memory of their parents.
On the ground floor of the house, there are art works of Atanas Neikov, Hristo Neikov, Elena Valtchanova, and Peio Valtchanov, who are nephews of Detchko Ouzounov), presented by them.
In the exhibition hall 42 aquarelles and pictures of Detchko Ouzounov are shown. |
