Byala Cherkva is rich in history, one of the most famous cultural and revolutionary villages during the National Revival period.The Thraks, Romans, and Slavs left heritage from all periods of the Bulgarian history. Byala Cherkvawas the birthplace of great Bulgarians. It is a wonderful place where the Balkan meets the plain, and the natural and historical sights attract many tourists. |

The Ethnographic Museum- Byala Cherkva was founded by the Cultural Club "Bacho Kiro 1869"- Byala cherkva in 2004. It is situated in a big hall in the restored old building of the cultural club. The museum is a part of a project in the programme "Living Heritage of Workshop for Civil Initiatives Fondation." The exhibits are donated by citizen of Byala cherkva. The exhibition contains about 2 000 instruments, costumes, vessels, and decorations, and they depicts the lifestyle of this region. There is a large thematic photographical exhibition "Byala cherkva in the Past and Today ". |

The Cultural Club "Bacho Kiro 1869" |
The Ethnographic museum was founded by the workers of the Cultural Club "Bacho Kiro 1869." The project began in 2003, and more than 2,000 exhibits were donated within seven months.The exhibition was opened on 10th May 2004, which is the town holiday, in honour of the 128th anniversary
of the April Revolution in Bulgaria in 1876.
