Town Information

Bratsigovo is a city with rich history. The city took part in every battle for Bulgarian national freedom. Vasil Petleshkov, a national hero was born in Bratsigovo. He fought for the freedom of Bulgarians in the National revolution of 1876.

The exposition acquaints visitors with the instruments that builders from Bratsigovo used. Miniature models of cultural buildings and city buildings from these builders are shown from the Ottoman empire.

Year of Establishment 1981
Founder Municipality of Bratsigovo

In 1981 the exposition of the historical Bratsigovo Architectural School from the renaissance period was founded. It shines on the real architects from Bratsigovo. It is housed in the Popovi Houses, architectural monuments of Bulgarian culture.
